DMR Golden Boy’s Black Magic, MH, MNH4 Hall of Fame
“Magic”
Magic is a super all-around dog. Active and ready for hunting or retrieval trials, calm and gentle around family and children. This once-in-a lifetime dog started it all at Dixie Mountain Retrievers and has since produced many titled hunting dogs, and she achieved her first Master National win at the age of three.
Magic is an amazing hunting dog and partner. She started her hunter training at 1 1/2 years old (which is later than most) and went on to pass 27 straight Master hunt tests in a row INCLUDING qualifying for the Master Nationals in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 earning three Master National passes (2018, 2021 & 2022, 2024) and entry into the AKC Master Nation Hall of Fame.

DMR Fog Cutter’s Magical Dream, MH, MNR “Daphne”
Daphne has laser-focus, drive and desire in the field. She is a smart, high performance partner and an amazing devoted family companion and friend.
Daphne earned her Master Hunter title in 2020 and qualified for the Master Nationals in 2020 (at 3 Years Old) (the event was cancelled), 2021 & 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025. Daphne passed the Master National Hunt Test her first time attending in 2021 and again in 2024.

Mia has a zest for life and hunting that is unmatched! She goes 100%, 100% of the time in the field. She is an amazing companion and partner in any endeavor. Mia is an excellent marker and easy to train. She is a fantastic family dog and has an off switch in the house.
At the hunt tests, she is focused and persistent, never accepting defeat.
